About the Role:
To provide supplier performance management for all raw materials used by the production facility to enable “right first-time” production.
Using Britvic quality management systems to control and deploy material and product specifications, standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the supplier performance management system for site including; the raising of complaints, issue resolution with suppliers and track supplier performance.
- Manage consumer complaint investigation and corrective actions working with the customer care team.
- Ensure process and procedures are in place to monitor and manage incoming materials and ensure they are fit for purpose
- Team member of the site HACCP management team.
- Team member of the internal audit team supporting “right-first” time culture
- Co-ordinate all site activities to control and rectify material non-conformances.
- Support the management and control the corrective action plans for all audit non-conformities.
- Evaluating food safety risks and implementing best practice improvements through continuous improvement.
- Support quality incident investigations including: product traceability, product quarantines, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions and 100 year fix.
- Support quality compliance through adherence to the quality management system, auditing, change control and SPC systems.
- Contribute to the development of the site quality plans.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven communication skills with ability to flex styles to differing individual needs.
- Sound knowledge of food production and packaging process is an advantage.
- Computer skills required SAP & Qadex is an advantage.
- Proven experience in food safety management and auditing.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, specifically relationship building, facilitation, written/verbal communication is essential.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience of working within an FMCG environment preferably within a Quality function.
- Experience in developing, implementation and maintenance of food quality management and auditing.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Degree or equivalent, or relevant industry experience.
- HACCP intermediate level advantage
- Intermediate Food Hygiene
- Auditor trained
