About the Role:

To provide supplier performance management for all raw materials used by the production facility to enable “right first-time” production.  


Using Britvic quality management systems to control and deploy material and product specifications, standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:



  1. Lead the supplier performance management system for site including; the raising of complaints, issue resolution with suppliers and track supplier performance.
  2. Manage consumer complaint investigation and corrective actions working with the customer care team.
  3. Ensure process and procedures are in place to monitor and manage incoming materials and ensure they are fit for purpose
  4. Team member of the site HACCP management team.
  5. Team member of the internal audit team supporting “right-first” time culture
  6. Co-ordinate all site activities to control and rectify material non-conformances.
  7. Support the management and control the corrective action plans for all audit non-conformities.
  8. Evaluating food safety risks and implementing best practice improvements through continuous improvement.
  9. Support quality incident investigations including: product traceability, product quarantines, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions and 100 year fix.
  10. Support quality compliance through adherence to the quality management system, auditing, change control and SPC systems.  
  11. Contribute to the development of the site quality plans.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:


  1. Proven communication skills with ability to flex styles to differing individual needs.
  2. Sound knowledge of food production and packaging process is an advantage.
  3. Computer skills required SAP & Qadex is an advantage.
  4. Proven experience in food safety management and auditing.
  5. Well-developed interpersonal skills, specifically relationship building, facilitation, written/verbal communication is essential.
  6. Strong leadership skills.
  7. Experience of working within an FMCG environment preferably within a Quality function.
  8. Experience in developing, implementation and maintenance of food quality management and auditing.



  1. Relevant Degree or equivalent, or  relevant industry experience.
  2. HACCP intermediate level advantage
  3. Intermediate Food Hygiene
  4. Auditor trained
