Job Overview

 

As a Team Technician at Britvic, you will play a crucial role in the operations function, responsible for manufacturing, packaging, and distributing Britvic's products. You will work closely with the Engineering Support Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and Shift Leaders to ensure effective operation of plant equipment and systems in primary and secondary areas. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency while actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Operate and maintain associated equipment in primary and secondary areas to meet quality and efficiency standards
  • Understand and implement quality control procedures outlined in the site quality systems
  • Undertake and propose improvements to asset care routines, ensuring their completion and effectiveness
  • Participate in problem-solving processes, enabling first-line fault finding and diagnostics
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader and Engineering Support Team Leader to identify and incorporate skill development and machine modifications into site plans
  • Actively engage in improvement activities utilizing the TPM framework, including learning, best practice documentation, process control, plant redesign/modifications, and engineering out recurring problems
  • Prioritize personal health and safety, as well as that of others, by implementing legal and company directives

 

Skills & Experience 

 

  • Practical experience of working within a high-speed/FMCG manufacturing operation is nice to have
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and HSE processes and legislation is nice to have 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 2 GCSE’s  A-C or demonstrable ability to interpret technical information is essential
  • HACCP/ISO/COSHH knowledge is nice to have
