About the Role:


We currently have an opportunity for a Key Account Manager (KAM) to work within our NI team. This role will report into the Channel Controller NI and will be responsible for leading the development of key customers within our Northern Ireland Channel. 

 

As KAM, you will be responsible for the negotiation, development, and execution of customer specific strategic and tactical plans to deliver company volume, revenue and profit targets, market share and effective management of commercial investments along with inspiring and motivating internal cross functional teams and external customers to flawlessly execute our commercial propositions and Joint Business Plans (JBP).

 

Building a strong contact strategy within your customer across buying, demand planning and merchandising, as well as internally across the Britvic brands, category and shopper marketing teams to deliver key activations of our brands. 

 

The role will require someone who is commercially minded, creative and tenacious and always looking for new and exciting ways to drive gold standard execution across within your customer. You will be a self-starter, organised, disciplined and ambitious to drive outstanding POP execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Development of cost effective and insight driven promotional plans in conjunction with Customer Trade Marketing and Insight team
  2. Development and execution of channel and account plans for your customer
  3. Achievement of budget on Revenue, volume, Trading Contribution (TC) and Average Retail Price (ARP)  
  4. Management of all investment lines, including promotional discounts, LTD & ADF spend to forecast 
  5. Delivery of forecast on time and accurately. 
  6. Delivery of great JBP’s that deliver Britvic Market share growth, customer forecast revenue and marginal contribution and customer profit
  7. Grow E-Com presence to outperform established store performance, ‘Clicks v Bricks’
  8. Operate internal systems (Xtel /SAC) to the maximum levels and achieve best in class system management
  9. Operate customer Toolkit system daily for NPD set up, forecasting, promotion deal approval, performance analysis
  10. Effectively managing monthly accruals and Invoicing
  11. Develop key relationships with influencers within your customer base
  12. Improve pull through of product into stores & manage the supply chain cost to serve 
  13. Development of optimum range of new and core product listing range windows throughout the year
  14. Managing communication with Field Sales team, setting monthly targets, and sending out monthly promotion information

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

 

We are looking for candidates who have FMCG customer experience and can demonstrate a clear understanding and confidence with P&L management and with management of both volume and profit forecasting processes as well as be able to demonstrate cross functional leadership.

  5. Ability to demonstrate market share growth balanced with internal margin growth 
  6. Field team / Group development background

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Degree in a business-related area. (Relevant experience may qualify)
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent relationship building skills.
  4. Strong IT Skills 
  5. Commercial awareness. 
  6. Proven Negotiation skills
  7. Planning and organising ability.
  8. Strong Financial Acumen
