Job Overview

 

Are you an ambitious and driven individual looking to make a name for yourself in a role that allows you to showcase your account development skills? Are you ready to leverage the power of some of the biggest soft drinks brands in the market to bring amazing growth results to your customers? If the answer is yes, then look no further! In this exciting and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for managing and growing the hospitality channel at Britvic. Your drive and energy will help match the ambition to more than double the share of business in this channel. There is an ambitious target of new distribution to be won, as well as working with marketing and brands teams to create exciting and impactful executions, all of which will facilitate the achievement of the overall budget plan. You will bring your experience, drive, and enthusiasm to build great relationships across all stakeholder groups, exploring more than just the traditional mechanics that ensure contract compliance and year-on-year growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Transform distribution, volume, and share footprint in all customers through execution of contractual terms and a challenger mindset approach in driving compliance.
  • Manage P&L of customers and portfolio to accurately report on performance, forecast, ROI of promotional activities, and investment accruals.
  • Lead thinking in identifying, resourcing, winning, and converting new business.
  • Develop RTM account management relationship to unlock further distribution with both existing customers and white space opportunity.
  • Continually review and improve the efficiency & effectiveness within the team.
  • Champion a coaching, learning, and development culture.
  • Ensure Activity processes are embedded through quality and timely Business case submission.
  • Build a commercial contact strategy and ensure that you evolve the breadth, depth, and seniority of your customer contacts across the annual plan cycle.

 

Requirements

 

Experience:

 

  • Ideally in a beverage or food environment.
  • Practical experience of category management & first-hand experience of managing customer relationships.
  • Shopper / Customer Marketing &/or commercial experience also valued.

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong commercial skills across a range of channels/companies.
  • Strong communicator (written & presented) with good storytelling & facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrable capability of applying category management thinking.
  • Good understanding of the latest consumer / shopper / market insight techniques.

Bachelor's degree required.
