Job Overview

 

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Customer Development Manager - Food Service & Wholesale to join our team at Britvic. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of National wholesalers within the Route to Market Dining team. As the primary customer interface, you will be responsible for creating and executing plans to develop or improve our market share, delivering sustainable and profitable growth for Britvic.

 

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and negotiate Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with customers, enabling excellent execution aligned with the National Plan.
  • Collaborate on the development of customer tactical plans and forecasting.
  • Support National CDMs with volume & financial forecasting.
  • Create and execute account contact strategies to drive and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Build cross-functional networks to maximize performance and unlock new opportunities.
  • Proactively track account performance, implement corrective actions, and deliver against P&L targets and strategic plans.
  • Brief cross-functional teams to enable flawless execution of account plans.
  • Manage commercial administration accurately and timely, including promotional management, rebate setup, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Negotiate and agree on local terms while working within the terms governance process.
  • Provide and/or ratify recipient details for price increases, as applicable.
  • Attend relevant meetings and conferences to ensure excellence in execution.

About You

 

  • 2 year of experience in a similar role
  • Have a good understanding of food service environment
  • Ability to lead and implement plans across retail, foodservice, and licensed sub-channels.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude and willingness to challenge the norm and facilitate change and growth.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • Have a good understanding of P&L management
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in customer terms/contract renegotiation.
