About the Role: 

In a fast paced and dynamic sector of the channel, this role offers the successful candidate the chance to continue building on the triple digit growth we have experienced YoY for the past 2yrs. Are you an ambitious and driven individual looking for the platform to showcase your strategic thinking, account development and new business hunting skills? Are you ready to leverage the power of some of the biggest soft drinks brands in the market to bring amazing growth results to your customers? If the answer is yes then look no further! In this exciting and fast paced role you will be responsible for managing and growing your account portfolio of higher and further education customers as we expand our share footprint across this important sector. Having more than doubled in the space of the last 20 months, there is a real connection and trust from customers with Britvic in this sector and yet the surface has only just been scratched, with plenty of headroom still to grow in this space. Your drive and energy will help match the ambition double our share again in the next 3yrs. There is an aim to maximise the distribution across the universities and colleges we already operate with, as well converting those who don’t into Britvic stockists. In order to do this you will be responsible for the delivery of Freshers events, working with marketing and brands teams to create exciting and impactful executions, as well as find ways of activating throughout the year with impact. You will bring your drive, enthusiasm and creativity to build great relationships across all stakeholder groups, to deliver executional excellence and grow both Britvic and your customers’ businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maximise and grow distribution, volume and share footprint in the higher and further education sector.
  2. Engage with commercial, brand, shopper and category team to deliver industry leading activations and platforms that inspire students and customers to stock our brands
  3. Manage and evolve the new business pipeline, challenging the boundaries of current landscape to unlock further opportunities to grow the sector.
  4. Nurture existing business, expanding footprint of Britvic portfolio at every opportunity.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Experience of working with framework and/or route to market customers sales teams
  2. Knowledge of university student demographic and behaviours – desirable but not necessary
  3. Tenacity to seek new avenues to success
  4. Creativity to bring our brands to life in university and college locations
