Job Overview
Are you an ambitious and driven individual seeking an exciting role that allows you to showcase your account development skills? Are you ready to leverage the power of some of the biggest soft drinks brands in the market to drive amazing growth results for your customers? If so, this dynamic role as a Customer Development Manager at Britvic might be the perfect fit for you! In this fast-paced position, you will be responsible for managing and growing the hospitality channel, with an ambitious target of expanding new distribution and working closely with marketing and brand teams to create impactful executions. Your drive, enthusiasm, and relationship-building skills will be instrumental in achieving the overall budget plan and facilitating year-on-year growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the C&C AOP, collaborating with Regional Business Managers, Category, Shopper, Finance, and Digital teams to deliver volume, Net Rev, and TC targets.
- Direct responsibility for the Matthew Clark FTB budget, working closely with the buyer and regional sales teams to deliver a strong ROI.
- Support the Elevate field teams on new business opportunities to achieve agreed install targets via Britvic Rewards.
- Transform distribution, volume, and share footprint through execution of contractual terms and a challenger mindset approach, driving compliance in both Dispense solutions and packaged products.
- Manage the P&L of customers and portfolio to accurately report on performance, forecast, ROI of promotional activities, and investment accruals.
- Develop RTM account management relationships to unlock further distribution with existing customers and explore white space opportunities.
- Champion and drive NPD at pace in all relevant customers.
- Responsible for deploying promotional activities, adhering to the national plan and working with Matthew Clark's digital team to secure online promotions.
- Ensure high-quality preparation for customer meetings, structuring and running them effectively to maximize business opportunities.
About You
- Understanding of the On Premise/Licensed channel and/or Licensed outlets.
- Knowledge of the wholesale channel (desirable).
- Experience working with customer sales representatives or 3rd party brand sales teams.
- Shopper/Customer Marketing &/or commercial experience is also valued.
- Strong grasp of Britvic systems and the forecasting and rate management cycle (desirable).
- Experience in budgetary management.
- Understanding and confidence with P&L management.
- Strong commercial selling and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written & presented) with good storytelling & facilitation abilities.
- Demonstrable capability of applying category management thinking.
- Good understanding of the latest consumer/shopper/market insights.
- Self-motivated.
- Full UK driving license.
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience is required for this role.
