Job Overview

 

As the Account Manager for Rontec, Applegreen, and Park Garages, you will oversee full account management responsibilities while driving outreach to SGN and a new national account. This role involves leading account planning processes with buying managers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and delivering on PFS (Petrol Filling Station) volume, profit, and market share growth targets. By leveraging strategic and tactical plans, you will foster strong relationships, identify growth opportunities, and achieve measurable outcomes across your portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Build customer-specific strategic plans, collaborating with Marketing & Category teams to ensure each customer has an individual annual plan that delivers against channel commercial goals and point of purchase targets
  • Ensure high-quality preparation for customer meetings, structuring and running them to maximize business opportunities
  • Proactively track account performance, implementing course-correct tactics as necessary, and driving a dynamic, cross-functional, collaborative way of working to maximize business area performance
  • Responsible for the collaborative forecasting process with your line manager, the Booker, and the Spar CDM team to ensure accurate internal and external forecasting, owning the delivery and correcting as needed
  • Administer allocated budgets, ensuring money is spent in line with guidelines agreed with channels and brands, and maximizing return on investment
  • Manage all responsibilities in association with cross-functional teams, aligning any investment or forecast impacts in line with Britvic processes

 

About You 

 

  • Creative thinker able to challenge live plans and find ways to deliver additional benefit
  • Experience in customer/contract negotiation
  • Compelling, inspirational communicator with the ability to build relationships
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills
  • Experience in budgetary management – overheads and/or trade investment
  • Understanding of P&L management (desirable)
  • Understanding of customer management (desirable)
