Job Overview
As a Customer Development Manager at Britvic, you will be the primary customer interface, responsible for leading negotiations and developing account-specific strategic and tactical plans to deliver company volume, profit, and market share targets. This dynamic role requires a compelling and inspirational communicator with strong commercial acumen to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build customer-specific strategic and tactical plans to deliver channel commercial goals and strategic direction.
- Develop outlet-level execution plans and collaborate with customers to ensure delivery.
- Lead price increase negotiations, pre-conditioning, and objection handling.
- Ensure accurate forecasting of customer volumes for effective business planning.
- Build and lead a broad customer contact strategy to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Conduct high-quality preparation and structured customer meetings to maximize opportunities.
- Spend time in outlets to build knowledge, evaluate execution, and coach team members.
- Attend relevant meetings and conferences.
Requirements
- Compelling and inspirational communication skills.
- Strong commercial acumen for developing BSD commercial propositions and implementable execution plans.
- Proficiency in P&L management, volume, and profit forecasting processes.
- Excellent selling, negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Highly developed influencing style and ability to constructively challenge and be challenged.
- Proficient in personal planning and time management.
- Experience in budgetary management and trade investment.
- Experience in category development or customer category development (desirable).
