Britvic's brands have all become truly household names and key to the success of our brands is a world class brand management team. We are now looking for an assistant brand manager to work across our Flavour Concentrates and Kids portfolio where you will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a range of iconic and market leading brands. 


Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will provide support in the development and implementation of the marketing and communication strategies for the MiWadi, Robinsons and Fruit Shoot brands. 

 

The ideal candidate should be results-oriented and energetic, with a passion for brands.  Additionally, the candidate should be an excellent communicator, who is able to work well with others, to increase sales and brand awareness by generating effective marketing plans and campaigns. 

 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Support the Marketing Manager in the development and optimisation of TTL marketing campaigns across the Flavour Concentrates and Kids portfolio. 
  2. Monitor and analyse campaign results and effectiveness as set against agreed objectives.
  3. Oversee and deliver key projects that will enable AOP (Annual Operating Plan) delivery e.g. product launches, social strategy, consumer communications.
  4. Coordinate activity for key brand sponsorships.
  5. Support Trade/PR press, influencer and sampling activity.
  6. Collaborate cross functionally with sales, shopper activation, finance, category & insight and technical to deliver effective marketing plans. 
  7. Build strong collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders and agencies. 
  8. Support on specific NPD Projects. Prepare business cases and manage these through the stage and gate process, from launch to post-launch review.  
  9. Assist the budget management by raising purchase orders and tracking spend.
  10. Support social calendar of activity to increase engagement, reach and awareness.
  11. Monitor and analyse market, brand and competitor performance/activity and proactively propose recommendations based on findings. 

 


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s in Marketing or related discipline
  2. Marketing experience, preferred FMCG
  3. Personable, energetic with a passion for the brands
  4. A strong desire to learn and contribute new ways of thinking
  5. A ‘can-do’ enthusiastic attitude 
  6. The ability to work confidently with multiple cross functional teams
  7. Strong organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail 
  8. Excellent communication skills
  9. Team player with a creative and results-oriented mindset
  10. Strong understanding of the full marketing mix
  11. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile environment 
  12. High level of IT proficiency, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  13. Understanding of data sources; Nielsen, Kantar and IRI
  14. Full Clean Drivers Licence
