Purpose of the role:

To drive soft drinks category growth through the design and implementation of category strategy, range and space planning, working in partnership with priority customers omni-channel.

 

Role Responsibilities:

To build, develop and maintain credible long-term category lead relationships with our trade partners.

 

To support our partners by providing clear and actionable insight platforms that can help to develop category groups delivering mutual insight led growth.

 

Create, develop and deliver regular category reviews with customers.

 

Utilise and understand Nielsen, Kantar, Talysis, Dunnhumby and IRI data systems to generate information for category reviews and ongoing category management, alongside managing external agency partner relationships.

 

Deliver planogram management and creation – SKU optimisation, shelf position and space planning solutions utilising Spaceman and Z-visual systems. 

 

Monitor implementation and review of range recommendations seeking continuous opportunities for growth.

 

Bring the shopper and consumer view to new product development, promotional plans and joint business plans.

 

Be "the champion" at maintaining category standards.

 

Live and breathe category management processes and maintain best practice.

 

Support, coach and develop category team members.

 

Lead our category strategic vision of the future.

Key Role Requirements:

Data analysis experience, utilising various data sources to gather insights and recommendations.

Ability to turn insights into actions, forming a strong rationale for category growth.

Strong communication and presentation skills, to transcribe data into compelling story telling.

Ability to prioritise with good problem solving and decision-making skills.

Experience within Marketing or Commercial function, experience within the FMCG industry would be favourable.

Proficiency of MS Excel and planogram software.

Understanding of Nielsen, Kantar, Talysis, Dunnhumby and IRI data systems.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment interacting with all levels of the organisation.

Innovative, solution-oriented mindset with problem solving and strategic thinking skills

Educated to Degree level or equivalent
