About the role:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior Brand Manager to launch a Global energy proposition in Ireland. This role is a great opportunity to launch a brand into Ireland for the first time in a high growth area.

Portfolio & Brand Strategy & Plans

  • A clear Brand Portfolio Strategy (rolling 3-years) and compelling Brand Annual Plans for each key brand in the portfolio
  • ‘Critical Few’ KPIs: NSR; Direct Brand Contribution minus Marketing Overhead; TC Margin @ Standard; selected marketplace goals e.g. market share, category growth; selected brand equity/health measures

Innovation Pipeline

  • A strong innovation pipeline rolling 3-years on a 4-2-1 basis
  • ‘Critical Few’ KPIs: NSR and TC Margin @ Standard from innovation launched; forecasted revenue and TC Margin @ Standard from the innovation pipeline

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the development and implementation of the Marketing Strategy and Plans for the energy portfolio to achieve brand performance goals across all channels on the Island of Ireland, based on category, consumer and shopper insight
  • Develop 3-year rolling Strategic Brand Roadmaps working with the Head of Brand Marketing for the brands comprising the Portfolio covering all elements of the marketing mix including Portfolio Planning, Positioning, New Product Development, Pricing, Communications, Activation and SKU Management.
  • Working closely with the Technical Team, oversee Project Management for NPI Renovation Projects for the brands and work with the Supply Chain Team on all other relevant NPI Projects.
  • Use Scorecard, MIP, Market Tracking, F&D Tracking, Brand Health Tracking to monitor Brand performance and take corrective action as required to bring the performance back on track.
  • Set the framework for execution of the Brand Strategies and Plans by delivering Channel Activation Strong Look Books so we can achieve excellent execution.
  • Embed the new Proposition Selling Approach into the Brand Planning. Strive to make this a tangible Competitive Advantage for Britvic.
  • Commission Market Research where appropriate
  • Maximise value from Third Party agencies & partners.
  • Drive cost effectiveness projects to achieve agreed goals.
  • Control and manage the A&P spend versus budget, to ensure accurate spend allocation and phasing and optimal return on investment.
  • Identify, manage and invest to grow the brands key distinctive assets
  • Work with the RGM team to agree a pricing, promotions & PPA strategy and annual pricing promotions and PPA Plan
  • Establish strong relationships with commercial team

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Sufficient proven experience on brands
  • Proven track record at delivering share and profit goals at Brand Portfolio Level
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills
  • Strong commercial orientation
  • Digital & experiential experience
  • Honours degree in Business Discipline would be advantageous
