Job Overview

 

We are seeking a dynamic Local Procurement Business Partner to serve as the main point of contact for all procurement activities in Ireland. This role bridges local business needs with regional and global procurement strategies across both direct and indirect spend categories. Based in Kylemore, County Dublin (minimum 3 days per week in office), the successful candidate will report functionally to the Senior Director of Direct Procurement for Western Europe and locally to the COO Ireland. This position plays a crucial role in delivering procurement value to the local P&L while ensuring compliance with company-wide strategies and policies.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Drive procurement value delivery in the local P&L and manage the savings pipeline, providing regular financial updates and risk assessments to leadership teams
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging while implementing regional and global direct category strategies locally
  • Lead sourcing, tendering, and negotiation processes for local indirect spend categories not under regional/global management
  • Manage supplier relationships including onboarding, performance monitoring, and claims resolution
  • Coordinate with regional and global category managers to align strategies and ensure local implementation of procurement initiatives
  • Participate actively in local cross-functional projects and budget planning processes
  • Ensure compliance with regional and global procurement strategies, policies, and governance frameworks

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant commercial experience in strategic and tactical procurement at regional or global level
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with Source-to-Pay processes
  • Demonstrated experience in sourcing, RFx execution, and contract management
  • Proven track record of delivering net/P&L savings through effective negotiation
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and issue resolution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, or equivalent)
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Education/Qualifications

 

  • Relevant business qualification or degree
