About the Role:


Value Creation through the development and implementation of a winning-with-the-consumer Brand Portfolio Strategy and Brand Plans, driving sustained profitable growth in the right shape contributing overall Ireland Business Unit profitability and revenue growth
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Strategically develop the Portfolio to achieve brand performance goals across all channels on the Island of Ireland, based on category, consumer and shopper insight 
  2. Own the development of the Brand Vision, Purpose & Positioning for the brands comprising the Portfolio.
  3. Work with the RGM team to agree a Pricing, Promotions & PPA Strategy and Annual Pricing Promotions and PPA Plan
  4. Lead the Britvic Ireland Stratplan and AOP Process for the Portfolio
  5. Develop 3-year rolling Strategic Brand Roadmaps working with the Head of Brand Marketing for the brands comprising the Portfolio covering all elements of the marketing mix including Portfolio Planning, Positioning, New Product Development, Pricing, Communications, Activation and SKU Management.
  6. Working closely with the Technical Team oversee Project Management for NPI Renovation Projects for the brands and work with the Supply Chain Team on all other relevant NPI Projects.
  7. Use Scorecard, MIP, Market Tracking, F&D Tracking, Brand Health Tracking to monitor Brand performance and take corrective action as required to bring the performance back on track.
  8. Set the framework for execution of the Brand Strategies and Plans by delivering Channel Activation Strong Look Books so we can achieve excellent execution.
  9. Embed the new Proposition Selling Approach into the Brand Planning. Strive to make this a tangible Competitive Advantage for Britvic.
  10. Commission Market Research where appropriate.
  11. Maximise value from Third Party agencies.
  12. Drive cost effectiveness projects to achieve agreed goals.
  13. Control and manage the A&P spend versus budget, to ensure accurate spend allocation and phasing and optimal return on investment.
  14. Identify, manage and invest to grow the brands key distinctive assets
  15. Establish strong relationships with Commercial Team


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

 

  1. A minimum of 5 years proven experience in managing more than one brand
  2. Proven track record at delivering share and profit goals at Brand Portfolio Level
  3. Honours Degree in Business Discipline
  4. Excellent communication & influencing skills
  5. Strong commercial orientation
