About the Role:
Beyond the Bottle solutions include our Aqua Libra taps and CSD Dispense solutions. Profitable, Sustainable and Future-proofed – BTB currently makes up a small part of the Britvic Ireland business but are seen as one of the key pillars to our growth journey. We have aggressive plans for accelerated growth in this channel with the ambition to deliver 1000 new installs in 2024. Excellent customers service is one of our USPs which is helping us to win accounts and it’s important that we invest in our team to ensure we continue to justify this reputation as we grow. As a result we are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager who will own the practical delivery of this ambition with the installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects from the initial site survey through to installation and maintenance of equipment. They will manage a team of Technicians and third party partners in order to accomplish this.
Key Responsibilities:
Essence of the Role
You will own own the operational aspects of installation and maintenance of our Beyond the Bottle equipment from the initial site survey through to installation and maintenance of equipment.
For Aqua Libra Co operations remain in-house through the whole product life cycle. At the present time we have 2 dedicated Technicians – you will manage this team and be responsible for recruiting and training a growing team as we increase our resource in line with accelerated sales growth.
For Dispense we currently work with a third party agency who are responsible for installations and maintenance. You will own Britvics IP and be responsible for the initial site-survey ensuring that the planned installation fits the customer requirements. You will also own the relationship with our partners in regards to the equipment installation and maintenance to ensure that we justify a reputation for a high quality of service.
Key Deliverables
Aqua Libra Company
- Ownership of the Operations through the whole product life cycle ensuring that we deliver a top quality service to all our customers – installing the right equipment in the optimum location to meet customer needs.
- Lead the Engineering team – currently 2 Direct Reports. Responsible for managing team performance, setting their routes (Island of Ireland geography), recruitment and onboarding of new engineers as required to meet business needs.
- Manage equipment – work with logistics and GB Team to ensure we have appropriate levels of required equipment in the warehouse to meet requirements.
Dispense
- Ownership of the Operations through the whole product life cycle ensuring that we deliver a top quality service to all our customers – installing the right equipment in the optimum location to meet customer needs.
- Complete site surveys with new customers to plan what equipment should be placed in which location to optimise performance in the account.
- Own the relationship with our implementation partners – briefing them on installations, managing service levels and holding them to account ensuring that we deliver the top quality service we require for our customers.
- Manage equipment – work with logistics and GB Team to ensure we have appropriate levels of required equipment in the warehouse to meet requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous field service engineering experience is ideal as well as a background in plumbing or water vending. However this is not essential – full training and support will be provided.
- Results-driven, collaborative and a ‘can-do’ attitude, a self-starter with a strong bias to action
- While Technical experience is not required it would be a significant advantage.
- Strong leadership and people management skills –experience managing third party and direct teams.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple on-going assignments simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, technically minded, flexible & hard working.
- Have experience of fault finding.

Qualifications:
- Third level education desirable
