Job Overview
Join our growing manufacturing team as a Production Operative where you'll play a vital role in achieving quality standards and contributing to site performance through effective equipment operation and maintenance. You'll drive continuous improvement using structured approaches including root cause problem solving and lean manufacturing techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Operate equipment according to best practices while complying with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Provide comprehensive production service across the site, including operating plant, performing maintenance schedules, and responding to breakdowns
- Monitor production lines and conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards
- Perform necessary quality assurance analysis and update information systems in a timely manner
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and apply new skills to drive operational excellence
- Develop and maintain world-class performance standards using agreed KPIs including overall equipment effectiveness
Requirements
- Direct manufacturing operational experience in a fast-paced consumer goods environment
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance principles and machinery operation/control
- Working knowledge of SAP & EWM systems
- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and HSE applications
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Forklift license preferred

Education/Qualifications
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Basic Hygiene Certificate
