Job Overview
The Project Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering successful engineering projects and supply chain initiatives that meet business objectives. This position requires a drive for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing innovative solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve cost, time, and performance criteria. The ideal candidate will lead engineering activities according to established processes, manage relationships with contractors, and ensure all projects comply with health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement fit-for-purpose engineering projects that meet deadlines, budget constraints, and all performance requirements while following the Britvic Early Equipment Management (EEM) process
- Lead project meetings and manage relationships with engineering contractors to achieve optimal results while ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 processes
- Conduct and report on performance trials while ensuring all projects comply with health and safety legislative requirements and Britvic standards
- Develop and deliver engineering continuous improvement programs to reduce supply chain unit costs and proactively create solutions to problems encountered within the supply chain
- Establish strong relationships with technical and engineering third-party OEMs while supporting the supply chain's engineering spares strategy in collaboration with Site Engineering Managers and Procurement
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical services with the ability to understand, review, and investigate site drawings
- Strong fault-finding capabilities for work package electrical interfaces and familiarity with Britvic Engineering Standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey project outage requirements and provide clear direction to contractors on installation matters
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with demonstrated project management capabilities
- Understanding and knowledge of industry trends and directions with the ability to adapt to changing requirements

Education/Qualifications
- Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications - Degree or Trade certification
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in engineering or project management
- Excellent level of verbal and written English communication skills
- Demonstrated "Can Do" attitude and desire to excel in project management
