About the Role:
The Technical Co-Ordinator is responsible for the delivery of key number of activities within the liquid and packaging development process. This role is responsible for the Program Management of the Value Engineering program within the Irish business.
The suitable candidate will help ensure robust technical expertise is applied with rigor to gain competitive advantage and ensure projects are delivered right first time.
 
Our Technical team consists of a group of highly trained scientists and professionals who are focused on supporting all Britvic business units by adding value through the “Make, Market, Sell, Enable” mindset and excellent partnership collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to liquid and packaging teams with day to day activities including batch make up, raw material approval, formulation approvals.
  • Organise lab activities including sensory lab panels, stability testing, ingredients log and analytical equipment maintenance.
  • Responsible for completion of Master Data Management documentation and submission.
  • Overall management of Value Engineering project progam, with responsibility of ensuring the program of projects are on track and delivered in full.
  • Responsibility for delivery of identified Value Engineering projects. 
  • Input all required artwork information into Artwork approval system.
  • Responsible for the review and approval of all artwork within Britvic Ireland, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
  • Creation of artwork specifications, with support from Pack Managers & Technologists.
  • Maintenance of weights and measure data base for Britvic Ireland.
  • Ordering of all trial materials.
  • Preparation and submission of technical information to external customer systems.
  • Provide the support associated with the purchase and management of materials and services including the raising, communicating and maintaining of purchase orders. Maintaining relevant budget tracker and preparing reports if required.
  • Create effective partnerships with Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain and Finance to enable flawless project delivery of key objectives
  • Ensure all project work is delivered on time and on budget 
 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
  • Experience of working with within cross functional project teams is desired
  • Accomplished IT Skills using Microsoft suite of programs (including MS Project)
  • Knowledge of SAP system is desirable.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, specifically relationship building, facilitation, written / verbal communication is essential

Qualifications:
  • Honours or Degree equivalent in relevant science discipline (e.g. Food science, Chemistry Chemical Engineering).
  • Project management qualifications are desirable.
