We are looking to employ an exceptional Business Development Manager situated in Boston responsible for driving new distribution, developing and delivering our plan in the off-premise channel for our premium portfolio of London Essence Company mixers. This is an exciting customer facing role responsible for commercial accounts within the Boston marketplace, representing our high-end portfolio, whilst growing our presence in the US market. The role would suit a well-networked and skilled Business Development Manager or Account Manager who brings commercial acumen to their trade. More about the day-to-day…

  • Manage the Boston market to secure and maintain distribution in targeted retail with focus in the off-premise accounts, chains and independent grocery as well as Beverage Centres.
  • Secure and maintain distribution in targeted high-end on-premise local hotels and restaurant groups.
  • Prepare, make and follow-up on sales calls with target accounts.
  • Build Relationships with wholesaler sales teams and train them on brand objectives, features/benefits and account maintenance procedures for our brands
  • Build relationships with key store managers and buyers to maintain distribution for key skus
  • Responsibly and effectively managing trade spending for maximum results and within budget
  • Achieve sales targets and manage and track sales to plan.

A desirable candidate will have...

  • BA/BS - Business, Marketing or equivalent experience in the beer /beverage industry
  • Knowledge of the local Boston market and previous market management experience
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
  • Good technical skills, MS office, understanding of and utilization of sales data, information-based selling concepts.
  • Ability to travel with reliable transportation
