We currently have an opening for a National Account Executive to manage an existing account base of regional multiple retail group customers, ensuring best in class activation, growth of innovation brands and profitable re-negotiation of contracts. You will be expected to evolve existing relationships and ensure organic growth through complete account management as well as the day to day running of accounts within your region to ensure greatest return of investment for Britvic Soft Drinks whilst maintaining the highest level of contract adherence through your account base

This Individual will need to:

  • To co-ordinate the implementation of all contracts in your region in conjunction with all internal and external stakeholders ensuring best in class category partnership
  • To build and then lead a broad and deep customer contact strategy to enable you to identify and capitalise on further account by account opportunities.
  • To build a customer specific strategic plan in conjunction with all key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Shopper Marketing teams to ensure that each key customer has an individual annual plan that delivers against channel commercial goals and strategic direction, prior to the commencement of the financial year
  • To work to develop a customer specific tactical plan that delivers BSD share, net revenue & trading contribution targets and which is aligned to the strategic plan
  • To ensure that high quality preparation is done prior to your customer meetings and that customer meetings are appropriately structured and run, in order to maximise business opportunities.
  • To produce periodic reports for internal use to identify key sales information, activation & wins
  • Complete information ready for quarterly business reviews
  • To pro-actively track performance of your accounts, implementing course correct tactics as necessary & driving a dynamic, cross functional, collaborative way of working in order to maximise the performance of your business area
  • To attend relevant meetings and conferences in order to ensure excellence of execution

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience of managing customers directly within an FMCG environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills to enable strong relationship building
  • Understanding and confidence with P&L management and with management of both volume and profit forecasting processes.
  • Experience of budgetary management
  • Ability to use own initiative and solve problems creatively – Accountability is absolutely necessary.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills – Driven/motivated to ensure all Britvic sales opportunities are exploited
  • Self-motivated with ability to work alone whilst also delivering as part of the wider team
  • UK driving license (company vehicle will be provided)
