Assistant Brand Manager – London Essence

Location: Breakspear Park, Hemel Hempstead

We are currently looking to Recruit an Assistant Brand Manager for the London Essence Company, you will be responsible for delivering compelling activation programmes which underpin our growth in the retail and hospitality channels and customers within the GB market. You will work collaboratively with the London Essence Marketing and Commercial teams and also with customers directly to fully exploit all opportunities and deliver market winning execution standards. London Essence has been designated a strategic priority for Britvic in its Mission 2025 plan and you are at the forefront of supporting this mission.



  • Lead the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of compelling customer and shopper marketing activities that drive brand visibility and Rate of Sale at the point of purchase, recruiting new buyers and driving penetration/market share across Premium and Mainstream Regional Managed Outlets and Mainstream Grocery (Asda and Morrison’s).
  • Build strong relationships and networks across internal Britvic Shopper marketing and customer management account teams and with customer contacts to ensure flawless implementation and execution of plans and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with the London Essence Brand team and rostered agencies to develop compelling, fit for purpose marketing assets and point of sale materials - delivered on time and within budget parameters, ensuring exceptional standards of execution and alignment to brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to an entrepreneurial spirit around the GB London Essence team, sharing positive success stories, learnings, and best practices with the wider Britvic commercial teams to foster positive sentiment and a feeling of momentum on the brand.
  • Be an ambassador for championing London Essence brand standards and best practices that can be shared with other global London Essence marketing teams, creating a repeatable template of success.
  • Support the wider marketing team with ad-hoc projects and be an active team player, willing to get involved in projects outside of your role to support your own development and visibility e.g. NPD.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: 


1. Relevant commercial, customer or shopper marketing activation experience – ideally within FMCG or spirits categories

2. Digital marketing knowledge or experience of working with online platforms is desirable

3. Experience within Budget management and Brief writing

4. Comfortable in running data and generating reports.

5. Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills with the strong ability to cut through complexity, while managing multiple projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

6. Strong planning, organisation and time management skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, with attention to detail.

7. A mix of creative and analytical capability.
