Category Strategy Executive
From Pepsi to Tango, J2O to Robinsons, Britvic's brands have all become truly household names. Key to the success of our brands is a world class commercial team and we are now looking for a Category Strategy Executive to become an expert in drivers of performance across the whole of our brand portfolio. To realise our strategic vision as a business it is essential we have an in-depth understanding of the soft drinks category, so that we can create sustainable strategies for growth, that disproportionately deliver for Britvic, but also grow soft drinks for our diverse range of customers. Using your knowledge of how soft drinks category is performing today and with additional market, consumer and shopper insight, you will work alongside the Category Strategy Manager to identify clear and inspiring growth drivers to help unlock long term growth for our brands. In addition to identifying drivers of long term, sustainable growth you will ensure our “strategy flows through to shelf”, by influencing transformational category focused point of purchase (POP) initiatives (specifically for range and space), so that our core brand plans and future NPD are designed to realise the identified growth opportunities within soft drinks. You will also play a key role in creating and maintaining compelling category selling stories that provide context to our brands’ role in driving growth for our retail customers.   
The successful candidate will be great at stakeholder management, balancing priorities effectively and ensuring that the work delivered by this central function is socialised across a wide set of stakeholders in order to impact our future plans.  They will also be able to talk confidently about the latest consumer and shopper trends, the missions and occasions within which soft drinks and owned segments are purchased and consumed, together with keeping up to date on the ever-changing competitor landscape.
