About this role

The main purpose of this role is two fold.

1) To own and drive the executive level talent attraction strategy. You will build collaborative relationships with HR and senior leaders globally to ensure we attract and secure the very best talent.

2) to identify and develop talent across Britvic ensuring alignment with the strategic direction of the business and ensure we have the right talent in the right role at the right time

As with many businesses, the attraction and retention of senior talent is needed to keep pace with our ambitions. This role is therefore critical to Britvic and will ensure that we recruit the best in the industry and that all candidates are engaged and delighted by the experience they have with Britvic.

Your role is to develop and drive the executive search strategy bringing Britvic to the next maturity level. The strategy needs to reflect a build or buy model, identifying the roles we can recruit internally and those roles that can’t need to be managed by exec search partners.

Accountabilities

Strategy

  • In partnership with the Director of Talent shape our roadmap and priorities to create Britvic’s 3-year executive search strategy which delivers the right level of candidates needed for operating in a dynamic workplace, changing operating context and to deliver our ambitious growth strategy.
  • Work with the outsource providers Account Director to ensure synergy between exec hiring and volume hiring
  • Ensure the assessment and coaching strategy is aligned to the business needs
  • Ability to think long term and recognize the critical skills gaps the business may have and plan accordingly
  • Create social and marketing campaigns to attract talent in line with the Britvic’s Employer Brand and EVP
  • Evolve the internal talent assessment approach to ensure alignment with capability requirements and EVP
  • Develop the internal coaching and development approach for Talent

Implementation

  • Implement a robust global process that both exec leaders and HRD’s follow
  • Own and manage a PSL of exec search firms that truly partner with the business. Manage the providers with relevant KPI’s to ensure each partner is performing and Britvic is getting a return on its investment
  • Continually improve the assessment framework for both internal and external talent
  • Implement a seamless onboarding experience for every candidate joining and provide support to those internal candidates stepping up into a senior leadership role
  • Ownership of the Talent Identification process, reporting critical insights which inform our Executive committee on challenges and opportunities including those connected with Employee Engagement and Culture
  • Ownership of the approach to talent moves and alignment with talent development requirements
  • Work in partnership with the Heads of both Leadership and Capability to drive forward the cultural ambitions of Britvic

Relationships

  • Build external networks through attending forums, presentations and meetings to bring the outside in and develop and grow our thinking.
  • Build effective working relationships with the executive team to understand their requirements
  • Work closely with the HRD’s as part of the recruitment and talent process
  • Work effectively as part of the direct and extended talent team

Governance and Engagement

  • Drive the development of KPI and providing reporting, with market data as required, including regular reporting against our targets and other KPIs.
  • Support the Director of Talent in the management of the outsource provider
  • Creating innovative ideas in the area of executive search
  • Responsibility of the talent annual and interim talent process

Outside in

  • Build external networks through attending forums, presentations and meetings to bring the outside in and develop and grow our thinking

Key requirements

  • Experience in an executive search environment with a strong track record in delivery
  • Evidence of strong stakeholder Management
  • Excellent Communications skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present data
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other parts of the business to drive results and outcomes
  • Proficient IT skills - Microsoft Project skills, Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent time management skills required including ability to prioritize and multi-task and handle time-sensitive deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and capability to express opinions openly in order to achieve the right outcome
  • Ability to take initiative and work within ambiguous situations
  • Experience owning and deploying an executive search strategy
  • Experience of talent identification and development
  • Results oriented and able to drive change
  • Having an awareness of global and cultural issues
  • Previous relationship management experience
  • Capable of establishing trust and followership across peer group and other key stakeholders
  • Demonstrates the ability to work professionally at all levels of the organization
  • Evidence of building strong external partnerships
