Key to the success of our brands is a world class commercial team and we are now looking for an Insights Analyst to Support the delivery of Britvic’s value growth and competitive advantage through focussed support on understanding brand, channel & business performance management, specifically on optimising reporting capability.


As an Insights Analyst you will be responsible for creating analytics solutions that deliver efficient distillation of multiple data sources as well as taking responsibility for the delivery of periodic reporting solutions for Insight (Brand & Business), Marketing and Commercial Operations teams.

On a day to day basis you will support Brand &/or Commercial projects ensuring external information is informing decision making and upskill our functional teams on continuous data capability. Ultimately you will enable Commercial Operations & Marketing teams to deliver great planning and execution by identifying opportunities to consolidate analysis (market & consumer) to drive efficiency as well as build functional knowledge of commercial teams to optimise outputs and to create a talent pool for succession planning

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support Insight, Commercial Operations & brand team on performance reporting across the channels
  • Evaluate current reporting capability to deliver continuous improvement plan, including creating improved functionality within existing reports
  • Identify opportunities to consolidate / centralise business analytics freeing up marketing & commercial teams to focus on execution
  • Support adhoc projects and strategic business questions (working with Business Insight, Commercial Operations & Brand Teams)
  • Support and seek to lead upskilling of internal capability on continuous data sources (Nielsen, Milward Brown, Kantar etc) e.g. training, software support and be the go-to person for questions
  • Build relationships with and partner continuous data agencies on above
  • Build the continuous data learning journey for GB BU, i.e. what training is required by role, and develop a training session booking process
  • Develop understanding of the Commercial Operations & Marketing roles through project support to ensure outputs meet the needs of the business

Experience Required:

  • Exposure to using various databases including Nielsen, Kantar and IRI
  • Strong Excel skills essential
  • Analyst and/or analytical continuous data experience from within an FMCG or agency background
  • Genuine curiosity in commercial performance drivers of FMCG business
