About Britvic
At Britvic, we’re on a journey to become the most dynamic, creative and trusted soft drinks company in the world. The name behind big household favorites like Pepsi, Robinsons, Fruit Shoot, J20, 7Up, Tango, Purdeys plus a growing portfolio of premium brands, Britvic is one of the UK's leading players in the FMCG market. With a strong position both in the UK and internationally, we’re looking to build on our success with an ambitious growth plan. As our organisation continues to grow, it’s critical that we find new ways to create value for our customers.

What we are looking for:
This is a new role that has been created to support the Procurement Transformation Lead across Direct and Indirect Procurement in the planning and delivery phases of Project Stride. It represents an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain career breath and experience from having a supporting role in a key transformational change programme and is ideal for someone who is passionate about using their functional expertise to create a step change in Procurement. The role is expected to commence as soon as possible.

About Project Stride:
Project Stride aims to deliver a step change in Britvic’s Procurement function, that aligns closely with the 2025 overall Business Strategy. This will see the function adopt a more value-driven, as opposed to price-driven approach, with tighter governance on supplier spend, underpinned by best in class supporting technologies. The programme process scope covers the full S2P cycle – sourcing, buying, supplier integration - across both Direct and Indirect Procurement.

Following an extensive needs evaluation phase, including consultation with various internal and external stakeholders, a framework was developed to cover four themes which helped inform development of the business case and guide the programme design. The themes are Governance, Integrated processes, Collaborative relationships and People and environment. In preparation for the programme start, a restructuring of the Procurement team was completed in March, along with an extensive market evaluation of a suitable S2P tool. It is expected that that both the technology and systems integration partner will be selected by October 2020, and the mobilisation phase of the programme is now commencing.

What you'll be doing?
This is a pivotal role for delivery of new source to contract processes and supporting technologies for both Direct and Indirect Procurement. We will look to replace our existing processes and systems (Spend 360, BeSmart etc) with one integrated capability and transform our analytics capability to support the Category teams with their benefits delivery. The role sits in the newly created Centre of Excellence team and will involve supporting both a full-scale review of current processes and subsequent development of future-state processes.

These cover:
•    Sourcing/Category management
•    Contract management
•    Supplier lifecycle and risk
•    Spend analytics
•    Supplier enablement
•    Change management

Knowledge & Skills required to be successful in the role:

•    Substantial experience in strategic procurement functions, ideally with knowledge of both Indirect and Direct spend categories
•    Previous exposure to change programmes preferred but not essential
•    Understanding of category management and governance processes and supporting technologies eg market data feeds
•    Understanding of process mapping and willingness to drive simplification and prepared to challenge status quo
•    High energy and prepared to be an ambassador for project Stride
•    Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
•    Enthusiastic when it comes to solving complex problems
•    Passion for working to deadlines, without compromising quality
•    Good organisation skills
•    Resilient & Tenacious

If this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you. This exciting role could give you the opportunity to play an integral part in the future growth of some of the biggest brands within FMCG and be part of the delivery of some exciting innovation within the Britvic portfolio. Britvic is a very exciting and supportive place to be, with award winning brands, a clear vision for growth, a focus on personal development and an open and honest culture. We offer a comprehensive package for this position with excellent benefits and you’d be working with talented individuals in a vibrant workplace.
