Our R&D team consists of highly trained scientists and professionals who work collaboratively with internal and external expert partners. Our team use science and technology to transform the future of soft drinks, creating products and packaging that help our consumers to ‘enjoy life’s everyday moments’ with a positive impact on environment and society. 
As our Sensory Panel Leader, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading Britvic’s trained panels and laboratory team in the assessment of products across all soft drink types and portfolios. In this you will ensure that best practice is followed, and the required quantitative and qualitative data is captured to support the product and pack development teams in projects providing, guidance and support across a range of business needs. The role requires effective leadership of a large collective team of sensory tasters, in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and execution of instructions is critical to delivering business needs. 
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
•    A-levels essential, degree preferred in a food science or scientific based discipline. 
•    Knowledge of managing a team of panelists to meet a common goal. 
•    FMCG Experience, including extensive knowledge of sensory science methodology and application of discipline is essential. 
•    Experience in conducting sensory panels is essential and working with a large diverse team. 
•    Experience in the use of sensory software data acquisition tools as well as analytical tools is essential. 
•    Extensive knowledge of statistical data analysis desired.
