About the role

New leadership competences and leadership agility are key enablers for Britvic to succeed with our ambitious growth strategy. You will get the opportunity to lead the implementation of a renewed leadership development approach and drive the development of critical, strategic capabilities as well as building a strong leadership bench strength to deliver our ambition goals.

The main purpose of this role will be to drive the effective development of talent and leadership development interventions. Connecting and building collaborative relationships with embedded capability leads and HR to ensure our learning roadmap supports our leadership ambitions.

The development of the leadership bench strength and organizational culture needed for today and into the future are a critical enablers for Britvic to succeed with our ambitious growth strategy.  You will get the opportunity to lead the development of our key leadership populations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills needed to lead Mission 2025.

Beyond this you will also be responsible for shaping the culture of the organisation, ensuring the right initiatives are implemented to create and embed a culture which will enable us to create the desired employee experience. This includes designing and implementing initiatives to mobilise the leadership population in support of the creation of the desired employee experience.

You will design and implement the leadership development and employee experience strategy of Britvic in alignment with Britvic’s strategic ambitions. This includes defining the leadership and employee experience requirements for Mission 2025 and ensuring that the initiatives implemented to develop leadership capability create the desired employee experience and culture. In support of this role, you will be required to connect with and building collaborative relationships with key leaders across the business as well as with Business Unit / Function Capability Leads and HR colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of driving the talent and leadership agenda
  • Evidence of strong stakeholder management
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present data
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other parts of the business to drive results and outcomes
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Creating and managing communication content (with help of others)
  • Capable of establishing trust and followership across peer group and other key stakeholders
  • Demonstrates the ability to work professionally at all levels of the organization
  • Evidence of building strong external partnerships
  • Proficient IT skills - Microsoft Project skills, Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Excellent time management skills required including ability to prioritize and multi-task and handle time-sensitive deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and capability to express opinions openly in order to achieve the right outcome
  • Ability to take initiative and work within ambiguous situations
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal direction
  • Results oriented and able to drive change
