Supplier Performance & Development Manager

Britvic recently commenced a programme, known as project Stride, to deliver a step change in its Procurement function that aligns closely with the 2025 overall Business Strategy. This will see the function adopt a more value-driven approach, with tighter governance on supplier management & development, underpinned by best in class supporting technologies and analytics. The programme process scope covers the full cycle – sourcing, buying, supplier integration - across both Direct and Indirect Procurement.


In this role you will have a pivotal role in engaging with key suppliers and managing the supplier relationships and contracts. You will work with the wider procurement team and local business partners across key functions to support the implementation of procurement best practice and procurement policies.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationships are integral to this role.

Supplier Relationship & Development Management:

  • Help implement a “Supplier Development Plan” to improve suppliers’ capabilities that are critical for Britvic


Supplier Performance

  • Identify and standardise (where possible) key performance indicators and monitor them across strategic suppliers
  • Improve overall supplier base performance by working with category managers on consolidating spend by supplier and reduce tail


Risk Management


Contract Complaince



  • Track Suppliers performance in the sustainability space
  • Audit Suppliers’ adherence to environmental and ethical contractual obligations


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:


  • Strong category management experience
  • A good understanding of procurement practice, including previous experience of involvement or leading and SRM programme
  • A good understanding of core procurement processes (such as e-Sourcing and category management, Purchase2Pay, Source2Pay)



  • Passion for Procurement best practice
  • A desire to champion best ways of working and problem solve
  • Good influencing and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross functional team environment is essential 



A Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject is desirable

CIPS qualification is desirable
