About the Role:


In your role as our Insights Analyst, you will support the delivery of value growth through the implementation of analytical and reporting tools aimed to provide a better understanding of past and current business performance in market. You'll join forces with either our Retail or Hospitality functions, becoming the key that unlocks insights, trends and analysis that will uncover our sales performance across our customer groups, signposting successes and areas of opportunity.


You will own the full 360 cycle from data cleansing and configuration, manipulation and visualisation with the ability to turn data and numbers into compelling stories around sales performance. You will join a small but mighty team that are dedicated in the realm of business and data analytics, with the opportunity for you to grow, learn and develop as our Business Insights Analyst!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Insight, Category and Commercial Operations on performance reporting across the channels
  2. Evaluate current reporting capability to deliver continuous improvement plan, including creating improved functionality within existing reports and agency platforms
  3. Identify opportunities to consolidate/centralise business analytics freeing up marketing & commercial teams to focus on execution 
  4. Support adhoc projects and strategic business questions (working with Category, Commercial Operations & Marketing Teams) 
  5. Support and seek to lead upskilling of internal capability on continuous data sources (Nielsen, IRI, Kantar etc) e.g. training, platform support and be the go-to person for questions
  6. Build relationships with continuous data agencies
  7. Build the continuous data learning journey for Britvic including what training is required by role, and develop a training session booking process
  8. Develop understanding of the Commercial Operations & Marketing roles through project support to ensure outputs meet the needs of the business

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

 

  1. Experience within an FMCG environment, in-house or agency
  2. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge essential
  3. Knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, Google, Power BI, etc) 
  4. Strong experience in creating reporting suits.
  5. Analyst and/or analytical continuous data agency background preferred.
  6. Previous experience of continuous databases preferred, but not essential
  7. Interest in developing consultancy/ influencing skills
  8. Genuine curiosity in commercial performance drivers of FMCG business
