About the Role:
Crucial role in business value realisation, leading from concept, scope definition, and execution different types of strategic and operational business transformation initiatives. These range from market, corporate and operational to process improvement, M&A business integration, divestments etc.
Effectively partner with functional business solution teams, business stakeholders, and external organisations to re-design business processes and realise automation opportunities in line with functional roadmaps backed by business case and industry relevant performance benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Business Transformation credibility through capable leadership
- Exceptional knowledge of functions and supporting business teams with the ability to communicate and bridge the gap between technical, operational and business to effectively deliver change.
- Govern and drive the Group and BU business transformation portfolio, securing investment (Capex & Opex) to deliver the agreed transformation objectives.
- Ensure that each change initiative is underpinned by a robust business case and has a validated investment payback model that can be tracked.
- Demonstrate understanding and be an authority in the different benchmark standards (APQC, Hackett etc) ensuring suitability to the transformation initiative.
- Collaborate with business leaders to fulfill the Simple, Focussed and Agile business ambition working with technology delivery leads to ensure that operational requirements are fully captured, prioritised and delivered against defined objectives.
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills for complex and specialist themes with ability to communicate and present upwards effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Will have a naturally Inclusive style and approach and work collaboratively with and through others to get results.
- Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders to deliver defined programmes of work and build a good network of relationships across Britvic.
- Contributes to long-term strategic direction of the wider IT and Business Transformation team
- Proactively engages business stakeholders to constantly improve customer experience
Enabling positive Business Transformation outcomes
- Oversee effective change governance, reporting and stakeholder communication across BUs and Group to provide strong delivery assurance, timely decision-making and close attention to risks and issues.
- Delivery focused, strategic and forward looking with ability to identify and lead operational delivery risks.
- Ensure there is a clear Implementation / Go Live / Transition plan for each initiative for a seamless migration of services and staff, being the ultimate gatekeeper of the transition-to-live process.
- Drive the development of technology solutions and strategy with market, product and Britvic perspectives and knowledge. Through the IT Delivery teams own the quality of all solutions against stakeholder and change management expectations.
- Ensure the overall solution architecture meets the business requirements on a given project or programme portfolio supports agreed architectural principles and quality standards
- Understanding of process mining tools e.g Celonis, Signavio and how these can be used to support business transformation initiatives.
- Support the approval of project resourcing requirements, utilising the most cost effective mix of resources
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Key experience in indirectly managing architecture and delivery functions to define and deliver a multi year business transformation agenda through a portfolio of projects
- Has good understanding of functional strategy preferably in the Consumer Goods industry covering associated business principles, technology, key business processes and emerging trends.
- Has proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within a complex organisation demonstrating empathy and strength of character
- Experienced in indirectly managing internal and external teams of architecture and project delivery resources
- A track record in leading the delivery of a project portfolio following a structured quality gate methodology including the development of business cases to support project approval
