About the Role:
The role is primarily to support the Tax Senior Manager to ensure that the Group meets all relevant Tax compliance & reporting obligations in the jurisdictions in which it operates, manage the Group’s global tax risks, co-ordinate and provide general tax advice to the Group and organise the Group’s affairs Tax efficiently.  

 

You will be working within a small team in a multi-disciplinary role across jurisdictions and enjoy a variety of challenging technical areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. GB & Ireland Corporation Tax Computation preparation & review, preparation of partnership returns 
  2. UK Tax Technical. (CFC, CIR, Share Option/Pension/ Derivatives experience would be a benefit however not essential)
  3. Tax Accounting and reporting experience should include Consolidated reporting, FRS 101 entity tax disclosures & tax reconciliations
  4. SAO reporting & in year testing across taxes
  5. Irish GAAP and Employment Tax (nice to have)

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Broad in-depth UK tax technical knowledge
  2. Understanding of Irish tax would be useful but not essential
  3. Good experience of tax accounting and reporting at year end and interim under IFRS and local GAAP. 
  4. Confident and able to promote the tax function internally across business units and also externally by maintaining good working relationships with external advisors, HMRC and auditors
  5. 1-3 years PQE 
  6. Experience of working in a PLC group tax department preferred or experience of working with or in large/medium sized businesses
