Early Careers Advisor 

Hybrid role: based at our Hemel Hempstead office with travel as and when required

About the Role:
You will support the design and implementation of Early Careers and Internal Apprenticeship Programmes at Britvic. You will be the first line of support for Early Careers, leading on both graduate and apprenticeship programmes.  

 

You will track and maintain records of those on programme, engaging directly with our training providers to drive successful outcomes and keeping systems/training records updated.  Ensuring our programmes provide best in class training, both with our providers and internally through great induction, reward, and development activities.  

 

You will work collaboratively with the HR Business Partners and wider HR teams to ensure programmes are driving our Talent and DEI agenda.  Engaging and collaborating with key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that those engaged with our programmes receive an outstanding candidate experience. 

 

You’ll partner with the recruitment team to drive attraction, lead on selection and ensure an attraction EVP that engages with Early Careers Talent.  You’ll support recruitment activity including the designing and co-ordination of Early Careers Events.  

 

Talent and Succession

  1. Co-ordinate the delivery of graduate and apprenticeship programmes 
  2. Develop our Early Careers Programmes to ensure they are building a pipeline of talent into critical skill gaps in our organisation, co-ordinating development days, and working with our providers to deliver great learning programmes 
  3. Work with our recruitment team to support the attraction and selection of our Early Careers Programmes 
  4. Promote Britvic early careers within the local areas to become an employer of choice 
  5. Design and Co-ordinate celebration events for those successful in completing their programme 

 

Learning and Development

  1. Co-ordinate a program of apprenticeships including new and existing employees.
  2. Design and co-ordinate training and induction plans for Early Careers and Internal Apprenticeship programmes. 
  3. Communicating professionally and appropriately with internal and external customers
  4. Track and maintain training records, keeping all systems updated including the Apprenticeship Levy account 


Employee Engagement

  1. Be proactive in communicating out and promoting the Apprenticeship opportunity including facilitating delivery of presentations as and when required
  2. Ensuring equality of opportunity is present at all times for all persons enquiring
  3. Be conscious of the need and follow data protection processes and procedures
  4. Act as the first point of contact for any enquiries or concerns 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Demonstrates an interest in HR and Early Careers 
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  3. Effective Relationship Building skills 
  4. Great organisational skills
  5. Pro-active approach 
  6. Ability to proficiently and expertly use software including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  7. Desirable: Experience delivering early careers programmes or apprenticeships
