Functional Consultant - Business Intelligence & Analytics

About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to analyse business requirements and define and own the detailed design, build and delivery of solution for various IT projects and technology initiatives relating to Business Intelligence and Analytical solutions.

Having a broad understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics technologies with hands-on experience in designing and developing data models and data engineering solutions with SAP data and other 3rd party data sources.  He or she can personally deliver the backend data engineering solution leveraging Britvic technologies with reasonable level of expertise.

You will be familiar with facilitating workshops, requirements management, testing methodologies and understands the role of analytics to drive business value

Core application focus areas: SQL, Any Data Integration tools, Alteryx, Snowflake, AWS, SAP 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Has confidence and credibility within the business to be seen as a Subject Matter Expert within BI solutions and builds and maintains networks to promote the existing and future BI solutions.
2. Facilitate requirement gathering workshops to define business functional requirements.
3. Working in virtual teams across business functions, IT and 3rd party suppliers requiring BI solutions.
4. Involvement in the project delivery process, ensuring any new solutions meet our business requirements and IT standards. 
5. Create and review documentation including specifications, testing approach and creation of end user documentation to support delivered IT solutions in a timely manner.
6. Build ETLs, create data models and designs where applicable in alignment with Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture standards and principles
7. Assist the unit test of solutions & provide support and expertise through Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

1. Experienced consultant with technical understanding of BI systems and processes with exposure to handling SAP data through various data integration methods (XU, Alteryx, APOS, APIs)
2. Has good understanding of role Data and Analytics can play preferably in the Consumer Goods industry covering associated business and technology architecture principles, key business processes and emerging trends. 
3. Experience in analysis of business functional requirements to drive the right data model and design.
4. Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders within the business and IT.
5. Experience of working with 3rd party vendors to deliver packages of development.
