An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Shopper Marketing team for a Head of Shopper Marketing within our Convenience & Impulse channel. On a day to day basis you will support the Director of Channel Operations in shaping the Shopper Marketing strategy for your channel and develop an annual shopper marketing plan that brings that strategy to life in your key customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that the plan delivers against the physical availability targets agreed within brand AOP’s and is aligned to exceed Point of Purchase (POP) drivers set out in the channel plan. Managing a team of 3 the shopper marketing team will work closely with the customer management teams to ensure that we have a full understanding of their customers’ strategy, tactics and approach to shopper marketing. You will work with your customer to ensure our plan is executed flawlessly, bringing our brands to life whilst building both ours and the customers businesses. 

We are looking for candidates who have strong shopper marketing expertise with solid experience of developing and delivering commercially grounded marketing activity into customers within an FMCG environment.  You will also have a track record of successfully activating brand, NPD and portfolio activities as well as experience of working with multiple customers across different channels in a consumer-led organisation. It is essential that you have previous leadership experience with the ability to build strong internal relationships with other stakeholders as well as experience of developing and delivering commercially grounded shopper marketing activities into external customers.
