We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager - Finance. Britvic are transforming to be a become a larger organisation so it's an exciting time to join. We are a SAP user and will be looking towards 4/HANA in the next 2 to 3 years. One of our key projects is to move from a 13 period calendar to a 12 month calendar.  This role is more business partnering and facilitation rather than pure delivery.

 

You'd typically be looking after 2/3 IT finance related projects in whih you'd need to get into the detail to find the right solutions.  You'll be a budget owner and be managing the technical cut over.  Some kind of finance or payments experience is neccessary.

 

Accountabilities

 

- Define and manage the detailed plan for each of the projects
- Work with system environment manager to ensure alignment with other projects
- Define the key milestones, dependencies and critical path for the project activities
- Ensure timely delivery of stage gate documents
- Manage and escalate issues as they occur
- Manage the activities of the development resource as appropriate to monitor progress and ensure that tasks are completed on time 
- Define clear ownership, responsibilities and deadlines for the Test and Cutover tasks including test preparation tasks, development of test scripts for integration testing, development of test scripts for User Acceptance Testing, issues resolution and regression testing.
- Develop and manage the detailed Cutover plan to achieve a smooth transition for the business and minimal problems for the Business on Go Live 
- Ensure smooth handover to the support organisation

 

Skills


- Proven ability to lead and manage a team across multiple locations
- Project Management experience (pref. PRINCE2) ideally in the Finance functional area
- Experience of managing multiple project concurrently
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with a range of contacts, especially the Business Team and the Competency Centre
- Business Change Management skills in order to ensure changes embed successfully
