About the Role
Join Carlsberg Britvic, an integrated beverage powerhouse combining the strengths of two legacy businesses to create a unique market proposition. As the On Trade Channel Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering sub-channel strategies and commercial plans that drive performance across our beer and soft drinks portfolio. Working at the intersection of strategy and execution, you'll collaborate with Commercial Operations and Account Directors to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and develop commercially sound solutions that deliver exceptional results in the On Trade environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with Trading Directors to deliver the channel brand plan and identify the levers that will drive growth.
- Translate the channel strategy into clear, actionable priorities for commercial teams and ensure strong day-to-day delivery.
- Lead the performance cycle—tracking progress, holding teams accountable, and putting actions in place to course-correct or accelerate results.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the on-trade channel is fully supported and aligned.
- Challenge plans and initiatives with a growth mindset, ensuring high-quality execution and continuous improvement.
- Act as the expert on sub-channel performance, advising brand, category, and operations teams.
- Provide regular KPI reporting (volume/NR/profit) and ensure timely deployment of brand and commercial tools.
- Use market trends, category insights, and consumer behaviour to unlock new opportunities and shape future channel plans.
Experience and Key Attributes
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional commercial results, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in FMCG, preferably with beer and/or soft drinks knowledge in the On Trade sector
- Proven track record of delivering market-outperforming channel or trade plans.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand performance drivers and course-correct effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence at all levels including senior leadership.
- Confident collaborator, skilled at working cross-functionally to build aligned and robust plans.
- Growth-mindset leader who can simplify complexity, challenge thinking, and drive meaningful change.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of plans, act with urgency, and deliver against KPIs.
- Resilient, action-oriented, and comfortable operating in ambiguity while creating clear solutions.
- Able to inspire and influence others, leading through others and holding teams to account.
- A strong, influential voice for the channel with the capability to represent it credibly at Leadership Team level.
