As a UK-headquartered soft drinks company with a global presence, Britvic Teisseire International (BTI) is responsible for expanding Britvic-owned brands beyond Great Britain, Ireland, and Brazil. Our primary purpose is to succeed as a brand-led company in international markets.

The Marketing Activation Manager supports marketing activities across the Global Premium brands (GPA) in assigned markets. This role serves as a key partner to our Distributors, working closely with our internal Sales and Brand Ambassadors, mainly looking after the German market.

 

In this role you may enjoy more autonomy and better work-life balance due to our hybrid working arrangements. Our office is located in Brakespear Park, Breakspear Way, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP2 4TZ. There will also regular travel to meet the team in London and travel to Germany, France and Netherlands to meet up with distributors.

 

This role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC)

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the brand owner for the territory, defining and evaluating the 'GPA Brands' marketing activation plan, operating as a consultant and marketing expert to the Distributor, Sales team, and Brand Ambassadors.
  • Ensure 'best in class' standardized marketing and sales tools and libraries are developed and up-to-date, including the 'Annual BTI Roadmap', selling documents, and others.
  • Build relationships with distributors in relevant markets and ensure the Joint Business Plan (JBP) can be executed by providing the right input.
  • Participate in the long-term 3-year Strategic Plan and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the GPA Brands.
  • Support the team with new products, registrations, SKU set-up, and ensure progress to the BTI Activity Exec forum.
  • Engage with global brand teams and the wider marketing community to stay updated on brand developments and best practices, as well as provide input to the global team.
  • Manage A&P for the allocated region.
  • Engage with other functions as needed: Insights, eCommerce, Logistics, Production, etc.

 

About You

  • Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience in relevant roles
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing (not essential)
  • You are a confident and passionate representative of our brands in international markets and with international customers
  • Experience in one of the following areas in FMCG: Category Management, Marketing Activation, Trade- and Shopper Marketing, Customer Management, including the creation of selling materials. Having a mix of experience is preferable.
  • Experience in the drinks industry (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and familiarity of On Trade/OOH channel are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships and partnerships.
  • Ability to multitask and act & deliver at pace in a fast-paced and volatile business environment.
  • Experience in managing agencies and writing creative briefs.
  • Results-driven and business-oriented.
  • Eye for detail, especially when it comes to brand consistency in a premium on-trade environment.
  • Willingness to challenge norms both internally and externally to drive performance.
