About the Role:

The purpose of the role is to work in the Master data team alongside the Britvic Finance, Procurement, Commercial (Sales & Marketing) and Supply Chain Business functions to analyse Master Data requirements and design solutions in alignment with the functional roadmap and IT, Data & Analytics standards.


The role holder will work with key stakeholders through the project delivery process from design through to testing and go-live to ensure technical solutions are delivered that meet requirements and are embedded into the relevant function as usual operation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Has confidence and credibility within the business to be seen as a Subject Matter Expert in Finance & Procurement
  • Builds and maintains networks within the relevant function to promote the existing and future solutions
  • Inspires team members to deliver quality solutions at pace
  • Facilitate requirement gathering workshops to define business functional requirements
  • Makes suggestions on areas for process improvements 
  • Working in virtual teams across business functions, IT and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Create and review documentation including specifications, testing approach and creation of end user documentation to support delivered IT solutions in a timely manner.
  • Assist the unit test of solutions & provide support and expertise through Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT).
  • Use knowledge and insights to proactively seek innovative ideas/products to support project success. 
  • Evaluate and deliver requests from the business for improvements to existing processes to drive efficiency and value.
  • Actively participate in training and knowledge transfer sessions for new IT solutions.
  • To build knowledge of existing solutions and processes for consideration in new designs.
  • Supports the business to create requirements document for projects
  • Actively builds knowledge of industry good practice to identify opportunities to drive future business value.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Data governance – You understand data governance and how it should work in the organisation.
  • Metadata/Data Dictionary management - You understand a variety of metadata management tools and can work with them to design and maintain the appropriate metadata repositories and undertake data and system integration impact analysis.
  • You can present, communicate, and disseminate data appropriately. You can explain the principles, processes, and tools to others to help upskill your colleagues.
  • You have good understanding of data technology landscape from data storage, transformation, analytics to governance and quality management tools.
  • Delivering data focused solutions in SAP and/or similar ERPs and Tier 1 systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be proactive, deal with ambiguity, and quickly develop an understanding of business processes.
  • Experience in analysis of business functional requirements and applying critical thinking.
  • Experience of working with 3rd party vendors to deliver packages of development.
