Supply Chain is dramatically growing here at Britvic. Following a £240 million investment in new, state of the art production facilities we are looking for a Packaging Engineer who will help us take packaging to a new level. Britvic is aiming to push the boundaries with what we can do with packaging using cutting edge technology to influence and inspire our well loved brands to become even better.

As a Packaging Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of packaging initiatives and projects for assigned brands/ portfolios within the Business Unit. You will manage small to medium size packaging initiatives and projects within the Business Unit as well as execute flawless delivery and work effectively with cross functional project teams on the execution of the portfolio strategy. You will own the development of some packaging work processes and systems and play a pivotal role in inspiring and influencing our brand teams to create new and innovative ideas within the remits of what our lines can do.

What we’re looking for in a Packaging Engineer:

  • Technical packaging development and some project leadership experience with track record of delivering results within an FMCG/ Pharma environment
  • Technical knowledge in a range of packaging materials (glass, plastic, paper and metal)
  • Base knowledge of the relationship of product, process, packaging equipment and packaging material.
  • Accomplished IT Skills using Microsoft suite of programs (including MS Project), Packaging specification and Quality systems are essential
  • Creates fresh and innovative approaches to overcome challenges
  • Good communication, influencing and collaboration skills
