About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to work with the Britvic Finance function, analysing requirements and working on the delivery of solutions in alignment with the Finance roadmap and IT standards. 

The role holder will work with key stakeholders through the project delivery process to ensure technical solutions are delivered that meet requirements and are embedded into the Finance function as usual operation.

The role will be part of the Finance & Procurement team in the IT Strategy and Delivery department.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership

1. Has confidence and credibility within the business and be seen as a Subject Matter Expert within Finance solutions
2. Must demonstrate detailed expertise in dealing with both standalone and Integration systems
3. Work closely with the Solutions architects to scope, design and agree technical solutions 
4. Build and maintain networks within the Finance department and IT Team
5. Provides thought leadership to shape future direction within the core functional area
6. Takes ownership – to deliver designs and solutions to deadlines and for the resolution of issues

Enabling delivery

1. Facilitate workshops to define business solution design and technical architecture
2. Make suggestions on areas for process improvements within Finance and IT
3. Working in virtual teams across business functions, IT and 3rd party suppliers
4. Adhere to the project delivery processes, ensuring any new solutions meet our business requirements and Architecture Principles
5. Create/Review documentation like technical requirements and specifications, testing approach, end user support and adoption to ensure delivery of IT solutions in a timely manner
6. Delivers the build and unit test of the solution & provides support through SIT and UAT 
7. Manages delivery through 3rd parties providing quality assurance and business knowledge
8. Assist the unit test of solutions & provide support and expertise through Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Performance Testing (PT) and Operational Acceptance testing (OAT)
9. Use knowledge and insight to proactively seek innovative technical ideas/products to support project and portfolio success
10. Actively participate in training and knowledge transfer sessions for new IT solutions

Knowledge Management

1. To build knowledge of existing solutions and processes for consideration in new designs
2. Own the creation of high level and detailed design documents for assigned Finance projects
3. Actively build knowledge of industry good practice to identify opportunities to drive future business value

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

1. Experienced consultant with very detailed technical understanding of core Finance systems like SAP ECC (FI/CO), BW, BPC and other Finance systems
2. Must have experience of implementing SAP ECC (FI/CO) solutions within a project environment, ideally with a minimum experience of 5 years experience and experience of delivering multiple end to end projects
3. Experience in detailed analysis, solution design and an average to good level of coding to assist in defect fixes if required
4. Very hands on individual with great initiative in working with teams to deliver solutions from requirements management through to delivery
5. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
6. Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders within the business and IT
7. Able to proactively plan and prioritise workload
8. Experience of working with 3rd party vendors to deliver packages of development
9. Ability to coach others in best practice when using IT solutions
