About the Role:

This role reports into the General Counsel and forms part of the wider Advisory & Compliance team. It is a leadership role and predominantly covers Breakspear Park (Hemel Hempstead - Head Office), Drayton House (Solihull – shared service centre) and Kylemore, Dublin (factory & office) in Ireland. This role has a very broad spectrum of stakeholders across the entire business and at all levels. Health & Safety and project management is a key element of this role 


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading the PLC Estates team, which includes developing and driving the AOP, ensuring all team goals are set and delivered and line management to 2 direct reports. 
  2. Managing the overhead and capex budgets for two sites (Breakspear Park & Drayton House) to ensure sites run efficiently and safely.  
  3. Lead and develop the Health & Safety strategy for Breakspear Park and Drayton House with input to the same strategy for Britvic Ireland.  Lead any accident reporting/investigation and develop/implement local H&S initiatives.  
  4. Working closely with the onsite FM team, oversee the day to day running of Breakspear Park, which includes organising all M&E PPM works, contractor management, onsite queries relating to desking, parking, cleaning, meeting rooms and working with various teams to facilitate a Working Well, which may include branding updates, putting together cost proposals, organising decoration works or layout changes.  
  5. Designated ‘Competent person’ for all H&S matters at Breakspear Park and Drayton House. 
  6. Ensure both Breakspear Park and Drayton House are ‘audit ready’ and participate in all external ISO audits.   
  7. Ensure Breakspear Park & Drayton House are compliant to all landlord/tenant lease terms, site usage rules and all Britvic H&S standards, which are subject to internal audit.  This includes ensuring there are sufficient first aiders and fire wardens. 
  8. Project manage any site improvements, changes and/or fitout works, which may extend beyond Breakspear Park.  Working closely with the appropriate teams to ensure compliance to our corporate branding guidelines, site restrictions and ensure good communication to all parties involved.  
  9. Drive Britvic’s sustainability targets and agenda on waste management across Breakspear Park, Drayton House and Ireland. 
  10. Lead the KPIs with the onsite/resident contractors who deliver the soft FM services, catering and external hard services providers for Breakspear Park.  
  11. Prepare team update reports for the PLC Exec on request 
  12. Manage the global property tracker to ensure lease renewals are negotiated in good time, rent reviews are communicated to budget holders, break clauses are exercised in good time and all rents and business rates are paid in accordance with lease terms.  


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Strong leadership skills including goal setting and personal development plans
  2. Strong expereince in Facilities Management  
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are key 
  4. Experience in property management is essential 
  5. Strong IT skills including presentation skills & Excel
  6. Experience in policy writing would be advantageous 



  1. NEBOSH or equivalent  
  2. BIFM Member or above
