We are looking for a Senior Talent Manager, based in Hemel Hempstead, to join our internal development team. You’ll have experience working in a talent team, have strategically managed the talent process, talent analytics and exposure to psychometrics.

You'll work closely with our Talent & Learning Director to execute our Talent strategy. 

Role Purpose:

Process Management: Develop, manage & ensure effectiveness of the talent management processes within Britvic in support of the talent strategy.

Assessment Management: Ensure the provision of high quality assessment tools and the evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of these tools.  Ensure a high-quality approach to assessments, through robust standards and governance

Provision of Data analytics/insights: Define the approach to data management, analytics and systems for Talent Management. Conduct analytics to support Talent Management activities. Provide talent analytics capability including the provision and maintenance of relevant systems & tools, as well as skills building of the broader HR community. 

Development & Management of Talent Management Processes 

  • Develop & manage the talent management processes that drive an on-going talent dialogue within the business in support of the business strategy
  • Support the development of our potential model and other critical talent tools to ensure that they are aligned to our strategy, are effectively embedded within the business support effective talent decisions
  • Build strong relationships/capability with the HR community to enable them to carry out their role within the TM process effectively
  • Support the Head of talent & learning in the design & preparation of the key Executive Plc talent meetings to continuous drive the agenda in line with the strategy

Development & Management of Talent Analytics capability   

  • Establish a plan for talent analytics development and deliver against this plan: Take the lead in interrogating global data to generate insights and thought leadership to HR Directors (specialist teams); Proactively draft positioning of the approach & outputs that allow debate, future planning and decisions based on data correlations, insights and testing hypotheses; Provision of metrics, insight and analysis to support cyclical activities (e.g. Talent Mgmnt cycle) and ad hoc requirements
  • Connect with key stakeholders within HR and across the organisation who manage data (people &  business)  to support the talent team to test root cause and business impact hypothesis using real data to generate insight and improve decision making around talent & people investment
  • Own talent analytics and define the approach by developing processes, tools, metrics to enable predictive analysis & insights that will generate business value, working in partnership with other business functions (e.g. Finance, HR Shared Services, TA team)
  • Manage quality and effectiveness of analytics insights  
  • Design and develop automated reporting – influencing the shape of the HR IT roadmap in line with requirements defined within the talent strategy
  • Ensure implementation of processes to facilitate quality data management

Development and Management of Provision of Assessment Services

  • Accountable for defining governance standards for assessments ensuring: assessment investment is maximised;  a consistent (high) professional, legally compliant and ethical standard of assessment delivery; interpretation and feedback standards are adhered to (includes data protection, legal compliance and best practice); data is stored and recorded confidentially, ethically, and in a consistent manner to allow for future research use.
  • Manage Psychometric Assessment Services delivered by external suppliers for both selection and development
  • Assist with ensuring adoption of best practice use of psychometric assessment across Britvic
  • Provide input into the development, implementation and monitoring of a 3 year Talent & Development Plan/AOP to address strategic talent priorities, addressing both ‘buy’ and ‘build’ strategies (working in conjunction with Learning & Development team colleagues). 
  • Identification of new and innovative approaches to ensuring talent management outcomes which meet the needs of a changing organisation.  Develop talent solutions and models to support the strategic talent planning process.
