Britvic is building for the future and as such we are going through a change, so we have created a new opportunity to join the team as a Sustainability Reporting Analyst.

This role will sit within the Sustainable Business team and work closely with functional teams from across the global business focused primarily on setting up and inputting data into the new Lifecycle Assessment tool as well as coordinating and report Britvic’s packaging and wider sustainability metrics vs our KPIs and the market indices that we have to report into. This is a key role primarily supporting the delivery of our packaging strategy but also our wider sustainability ambitions across the global business, through the provision of data, calculations and analyses.

Daily you will be responsible for:

  • Be the internal expert on the day-to-day running of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool, supporting teams to complete both product level and process level LCAs
  • Work closely with the packaging specialists in the business to improve data management, traceability and accuracy.
  • Provide data and reports to third parties (e.g. UK Plastics Pact, Origin Green) as required
  • Proactively gather, cleanse, investigate and justify data with evidence in preparation for planned or unplanned meetings, events, requests or audits (with e.g. customers, shareholders etc)
  • Seek opportunities for efficiency improvements in data flow and collection methodologies, integrating corporate data collection efforts with existing business processes and automate data collection where possible
  • Liaise with IT on matters effecting data management systems
  • Produce internal monthly/periodic, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc packaging and sustainability performance reports/updates for the PLC and BUs

To be successful in your application, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent IT skills including Excel and other analytical software; experience in SAP is a plus
  • Familiarity with Life Cycle Assessment process and systems
  • Experience of corporate carbon footprinting
  • Knowledge and interest in sustainability issues
  • Effective relationship building and influencing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to produce structured, concise and meaningful reports, summarising results and justifying conclusions
