Job Overview:
The role supports the delivery of profitable growth for Britvic GB through the application of data manipulation, predictive analytics and reporting tools aimed at improving price and promotional planning accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness. This role provides the opportunity to directly influence business performance with the ability to make a tangible difference to Britvic GB commercial outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain analytics solutions that assist the Value Strategy team in creating optimized price and promotional strategic plans efficiently and driven by great insight through a combination of external and internal data
- Build solutions and business capability to deliver a more category-centric approach to price and promotional planning using analytical tools to identify category pricing dynamics with insight that can be used in external category-based selling stories
- Build, create and maintain appropriate reporting suites/dashboards for price and promotional management using a combination of internal and external data sources
- Support the Value Strategy team in creating and maintaining a predictive analytics toolset to enable efficient and effective price and promotional plan creation and optimization
- Provide expertise in the design and continuous development of the Value Strategy planning toolkit, evolving them over time to support a more category-centric approach to planning and selling of pricing and promotional plans
- Liaise with the Value Realization team to support the integration of data, insight and process flows between the two teams and the delivery of the RGM strategic roadmap
- Work with IT / Data Analytics team to optimize Value Strategy data management and processing within the Britvic infrastructure
- Support ad-hoc projects and strategic business questions (working cross-functionally as required)
Requirements:
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge essential
- Knowledge of data management tools, coding and data visualization (e.g. Alteryx, Snowflake, Python, R, SAC, Power BI)
- Experience in creating dashboard reports
- Knowledge of statistical modelling techniques desirable but not essential e.g. linear regression
- Some basic financial understanding is preferred but not essential
- Interest in developing data science and/or core commercial skills
