<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">About the Role:

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ensure that all work undertaken complies with Engineering and safety legislation.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Working an annualised shift pattern. The purpose of the role is to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the equipment. Attend machine breakdowns and effect repairs as quickly as possible.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">To carry out planned and preventative maintenance of the production equipment in line with the maintenance plan.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">To maintain the site utilities and services in line with legal requirements and to ensure maximum uptime and performance.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Lead zero loss teams to reduce utilities usage and drive improvements to reliability.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Champion quality, safety, health, environmental standards and legal compliance within the engineering teams.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Support and develop improvements to production equipment to drive site reliability targets. Facilitation of problem-solving activities with both technical and non-technical personnel.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Complete Planned preventative maintenance activities in line with the site plan.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Organising and managing work in relation to facilities and site infrastructure.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Developing plans and practices that reduce the site utilities consumption. Championing environmental performance to reduce site overheads.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Supporting and managing the site utilities and services equipment to optimise operation and maximise reliability of the equipment.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Working with the engineering planner to optimise the planned preventative maintenance program across the range of production equipment.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Practical Engineering / Technical experience with a proven track record of maintenance delivery

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">A Strong multi-skilled background (with an electrical bias) able to understand root cause of machine breakdown and develop solutions to engineer out.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Develop principles of operation and change over and work with shift teams to train and develop operators.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Experience of working within continuous improvement programmes.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Qualifications:

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Ideally City & Guilds, ONC in an engineering discipline (HNC preferable).
