Job Length: Permanent
Working Hours: Working 1,920 hours per year, on a 4 week set shift pattern, including a combination of Night Shifts (6pm to 6am), Day Shifts (6am to 6pm) and Focus Days for team training. Further details of the shift pattern can be found below.

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Factory Operator. Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to deliver production targets across quality, output and cost measures.
- Accountable for daily performance in your operational area, whilst improving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the achievement of key manufacturing KPIs, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), waste reduction, quality and safety performance.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and BWS activities to enhance operational performance.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and food safety across the production environment.
- Carry out basic first-line maintenance and equipment changeovers to improve reliability and minimise downtime.
- Act as a role model within the team, promoting positive behaviours, teamwork and best practice.
- Serve as a key link between operations, leadership and supporting functions, communicating performance, priorities and improvement opportunities.
- Coach and support colleagues on equipment operation, processes and continuous improvement activities when required.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Previous experience operating machinery, ideally within an FMCG, manufacturing or production environment.
- Sound understanding of manufacturing processes, continuous improvement methodologies and TPM principles.
- Knowledge of SAP and experience using manufacturing or production systems.
- Awareness of Health, Safety, Hygiene and food manufacturing standards.
- Basic engineering and maintenance skills, including first-line maintenance and lubrication activities.
- Effective communication and team-oriented skills, along with the capacity to guide and support others.
- Dedicated to continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork, with an aim to produce results.
