The role:

 

As a Customer Supply Chain Manager you will own it  as you develop and implement supply chain strategies and tactics within specified channel markets through building great working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.

 

You will take a zero loss mentality to drive out inefficiencies in the supply chain whilst improving our forecast accuracy, supply chain costs and service / availability performance metrics.

 

You will identify, evaluate and implement strategies to achieve the optimal method of supplying the customer and improve on shelf availability whilst reducing distribution costs.

 

You will own and develop customer specific account relationships and strategies via contact plan with all levels of the customer supply chain to ensure clarity of understanding and alignment

 

We believe we are stronger together so you will lead and coach a highly motivated team of Collaboration and Forecast Managers by developing skills to support future career development and improved results.  First line manager of Customer Operations Manager, and therefore accountable for forecast analysis across channel, total Business Unit and by strategy group.

 

We care about our business so you will lead the customer service and deployment teams to drive best practice customer relationships, order capture and network deployment.

 

Demonstrate leadership role within Demand & Supply Planning department in order to deliver Must-Win-Battle plan objectives, and develop and support future strategies / processes.

 

Manage the Business unit forecast at the agreed level of detail and time horizon, while gaining commitment to, and ownership of the event and base elements of the volume forecast from the commercial teams.

 

Drive a strong and aligned business relationships with key supply chain and commercial stakeholders. 

 

Participating in multi-functional teams e.g. in respect to innovation execution and Sales & Operations Planning Process.

 

Skills and Experience 

Customer relationship management and internal commercial engagement skills are essential.

Leadership, people management and coaching skills are essential.

Demand Planning skills are essential.

Awareness of Logistics and Supply Chain management processes is desirable, e.g. supply planning, operations planning and distribution planning.

Analytical skills, including trending and insight analysis are essential.

SAP / APO experience is desirable.

Stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential.

Commercial experience and negotiation skills are desirable.
