About the Role:
Managing and developing external customer supply relationships to achieve service delivery targets and cost management through forecast accuracy and a collaborative mindset. Working with internal stakeholders across the Commercial, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service and Deployment teams to drive continuous improvement and goal delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all supply chain end to end responsibilities, driving improved customer service, availability and forecast objectives. Responsible for the forecast, customer relationship and cost to serve strategies with the customers and channels. Aligned to the internal customer management leadership team for the account/channel (BDM and AD), and responsible for directing the supply chain relationship within ‘One Britvic’. Lead the delivery of NPD in the customer/channel
Forecasts:
- Manage the short term operational forecast window
- Lead Britvic’s forecast process with Customer Management and our Customers
- Influence beyond the 20 week forecast window, ensuring smooth transition between Long Term & Short Term timelines
- Full Customer/Britvic collaboration to align base and promotional forecasts
- Leads S&OP governance on all forecast related matters
Availability and Service:
- Drive improved availability via links to customer systems
- Manage daily reports for the availability for key customers
- Develop broad and deep relationships with all Customer supply chain contacts
Insight:
- Provide accurate and timely data to support key decision making processes
Cost to Serve:
- Regular evaluation of customer “CTS Profile” data to optimise supply chain costs
- Builds and sets annual Account CTS Targets
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- FMCG supply chain or commercial experience
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP & APO systems
- Experience of influencing key stakeholders
- Full understanding of S&OP process and link to the commercial sell in process
- Strong Customer facing experience
