Job Overview

As a Product Supply Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of manufacturing planning across the operational factory site and co-pack suppliers. Your primary focus will be to deliver optimized customer service availability while driving maximum supply chain efficiencies through inventory management and waste reduction. You will support factory operational management teams to deliver manufacturing efficiencies and output performance while engaging with Customer Logistics to drive forecast accuracy and maximize volume sales. Additionally, you will provide a link with procurement teams and brand teams to ensure supplier and innovation activities are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively plan production and materials to drive availability of the Britvic product portfolio and efficient levels of inventory.
  • Inform and influence all stakeholders to ensure that the forecast is understood, and risks and contingencies are agreed upon to maintain availability.
  • Provide the key link between the Demand Supply Planning Function, the Site Operations teams, and the Drive Site Teams.
  • Lead and present at local and co-pack review meetings to ensure that short-term demand and business volume requirements are understood.
  • Proactively work with the Collaboration Manager Group and Drive Site to maximize direct deliveries to customers and reduce internal transport movements.
  • Proactively participate in projects and lead the logistics Operations element.
  • Lead central operational planning projects that deliver changes and waste reduction.
  • Lead Focused Improvement initiatives to improve quality of performance and reduce overall GB&I Operations costs.
  • Maintain and update Master Data to ensure production plans are robust.
  • Where appropriate, take on key user responsibilities to drive best practices and process adherence within the planning group.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • ERP and SAP R3 experience is preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, are essential.
  • Experience with technical supply planning skills, such as Stock modelling, Master data, and reporting, is preferred.
  • Awareness of end-to-end supply chain planning and processes is preferred.
  • Proven record of working to deadlines and prioritizing workload.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  • Business or Operations qualification preferred
