This is a field-based role which includes a car allowance.


About the Role:
To manage a portfolio of National & Regional wholesalers within the Route to Market Dining team. You will be the primary customer interface and will be expected to create plans to develop or improve our market share that deliver sustainable profitable growth for Britvic.  


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and negotiate a JBP (joint business plan) with your customers, aligned to the National Plan, with the support of your CDM.
  2. Working collaboratively to develop a tactical plan and forecast for your customer.
  3. Provide volume and financial forecasting support to National CDMs
  4. Responsible for defining and executing the account contact strategy to drive and capitalise on future business opportunities.
  5. Develop a collaborative, cross-functional network that will maximize your business area's performance and unlock new business opportunities.
  6. Proactively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with your Line manager and team to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan.
  7. To be accountable for briefing your account plan to the appropriate cross-functional team members to enable flawless execution. 
  8. Assuring excellence in execution by attending relevant meetings and conferences.
  9. Engage your CDM to negotiate and agree local terms within the term's governance process, incorporating execution input into the term's discussion as appropriate.
  10. To provide and ratify recipient details for price increase, as applicable.
  11. Maintaining accuracy and timeliness in commercial administration, inclusions:

A) System-based promotional management

B) Setting up of rebates

C) Reconciling & administering invoices

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Creative thinker, with the ability to capture a vision of the future and create a plan for action
  2. Somebody with a ‘can do’ attitude and not afraid to challenge the norm and themselves to facilitate change and growth
  3. Integrity and strength of character with great selling and negotiation skills
  4. Self-motivated with ability to work alone whilst also delivering as part of the wider team
  5. The ability to both lead plans and implement plans of others, to be able to switch effortlessly between sub-channels of retail, foodservice and licensed as appropriate for the volume share within the wholesale customers
  6. Experience of customer terms/contract renegotiation

You may be working or have experience with an FMCG Background, typically working as an experienced Account Executive or Account Manager, where you have had full P&L ownership.
